1. Overview

All products sold by JoyLand Creations LLC are custom-made to order and produced upon purchase. Because each item is created specifically for you, returns, exchanges, or refunds are not accepted except in cases of verified manufacturing defects, damage, or fulfillment errors.

This policy ensures fairness for both the customer and the store while maintaining compliance with U.S. consumer protection laws governing custom goods.


2. Eligibility for Return or Replacement

A return, refund, or replacement may be authorized only under the following conditions:

  1. Damaged or Defective Product – The item arrives materially damaged, printed incorrectly, or with a production flaw.
  2. Incorrect Item – You received the wrong item, size, or color compared to your order confirmation.
  3. Shipping Error – The order was lost or misdelivered due to a verified carrier error.

In these cases, a replacement or refund will be issued at no cost to the customer, excluding reshipment cost.


3. Product Substitution

In situations where the originally ordered brand, material, or component is unavailable or discontinued, JoyLand Creations LLC reserves the right to substitute a product of equal or higher quality to fulfill the order without prior notice.
Such substitutions will not be considered “incorrect” or “defective” under this policy, provided the essential specifications, appearance, and function remain equivalent.
If the substitute product differs materially in performance or quality, the customer will be notified and may choose to accept the substitution or cancel the order for a full refund prior to shipment.


4. Non-Returnable & Non-Refundable Items

Because all orders are made-to-order, we cannot accept returns or exchanges for:

  • Buyer’s remorse or incorrect size selection.
  • Minor variations in color, placement, or texture due to normal printing processes.
  • Orders delayed by the shipping carrier but still in transit.
  • Items returned without prior authorization.
  • Digital products, gift cards, or downloadable content.

All such sales are final.


5. Reporting a Problem

To request a return or replacement:

  • Contact us at Contact Us Ticket Portal within 7 calendar days of delivery.
  • Include:
    • Your order number
    • A description of the issue
    • Clear photos of the product and packaging (showing the defect or damage)
    • Any relevant tracking or delivery details

Claims received after 7 calendar days of confirmed delivery cannot be accepted.
Unauthorized returns sent to our facilities will not be processed or reimbursed.


6. Refund Method

If a refund is approved:

  • It will be issued to the original payment method used for the order.
  • Refund processing may take 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card provider.
  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable, except where the error originated from our side.

7. Order Modifications or Cancellations

Orders move into production shortly after submission. Therefore:

  • Cancellations or modifications are only possible within 30 minutes of purchase, provided production has not begun.
  • After production starts, the order cannot be canceled or changed under any circumstance.

8. Shipping and Lost Packages

If a package is confirmed lost in transit:

  • Contact us within 30 days of the expected delivery date.
  • We will verify with the carrier.
  • Upon confirmation, a replacement will be issued at no additional charge.

We are not responsible for orders shipped to incorrect or incomplete addresses provided by the customer.


9. Governing Law

This policy is governed by the laws of the State of [Your State], without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising under this policy shall be handled in accordance with our Terms of Service.

11. Legal Notice

This Return & Refund Policy complies with the following U.S. consumer and commercial laws:

  • Federal Trade Commission (FTC):
    • 16 C.F.R. § 435 (Mail, Internet, or Telephone Order Merchandise Rule) – Permits merchants to define and disclose their own return and refund terms for custom-made goods when stated prior to sale.
    • FTC Act, 15 U.S.C. §§ 41–58 – Prohibits unfair or deceptive business practices; clear and conspicuous disclosure of this policy meets compliance.
  • Uniform Commercial Code (UCC):
    • UCC § 2-601 (Buyer’s Rights on Improper Delivery) – Allows sellers to define contractual conditions under which goods may be rejected or returned.
    • UCC § 2-614 (Substituted Performance) – Authorizes substitution of goods or performance when the original is impracticable, provided the substitute is commercially reasonable.
    • UCC § 2-316 (Exclusion or Modification of Warranties) – Permits limitation of remedies and warranties if disclosed in advance.
    • UCC § 2-719 (Contractual Modification of Remedies) – Upholds “replacement or refund only” clauses when fairly communicated to the buyer.

By completing a purchase, the customer acknowledges and agrees to this Return & Refund Policy and the limitations of remedies described herein.
